Who knew it would take more than a month to design my
birthday girl companion page? First I had to wait for paper, and then wait
again! Oh! Did I mention the die cut? We are featuring another new Elizabeth
craft diecut – this cupcake has candles! Perfect for a boy page. Though there
are many similarities to the girl page, there are distinct differences like
color, layout, etc. The black area represents photo placement, but is totally dependent
on the pictures you have. I used a Hero Arts stamp set which has been
discontinued. I have 25 stamps that should arrive before February 21st.
When that stamp is no longer available, I’ll be using an Impression Obsession "Happy Birthday"
stamp. I used Memento Bahama Blue ink to create the background, the new
Elizabeth Craft Designs cupcakes diecut to create the embellishments, my Pazzle
to generate the title, and The Paper Cut Lunar, Celestial Blue, Black Licorice and Sweet Tooth
papers. Making the cupcakes was a blast with my Copic markers and
SparkleNSprinkle glitter. This kit is jam-packed with product and is selling
for $25 with the stamp and $13 without. If you’re interested in purchasing this
kit, email me at diane@scrappigators.com.
By the end of next week, you will be able to order on my website.

Birthday Girl
Isn’t it amazing how a casual comment can turn into
something exciting? That was the case with this layout that is the first of my Scrapbook in a Year program. I used a
Hero Arts stamp set and Close To My Heart Cotton Candy ink to create the
background, the new Elizabeth Craft Designs cupcakes diecut to create the
embellishments, my Pazzle to generate the title, and Paper Cuts Pink Lemonade,
Razzleberry, Black Licorice and Sweet Tooth papers. Making the cupcakes was a
blast with my Copic markers and SparkleNSprinkle glitter. This kit is
jam-packed with product and is selling for $25. If you’re interested in
purchasing this kit, email me at diane@scrappigators.com.
By the end of next week, you will be able to order on my website (www.scrappigators.com).

June-July Flower of the Month
This is my first flower of the month; it just took two months to get the classes going. Unfortunately, I discovered two distinct flowers using two unique techniques -- so I suppose these were the June-July Flowers of the Month. Both project-sets used Copic markers, but not any specific ones. The violet patterns were part of my morning class with the oranges came from my late afternoon class. The featured flower in the center cards was from Gina K's Year of Flowers. Not only to we color the "magnified" petals with Copics, but the backgrounds were created with the same colors. The outside flowers are from Elizabeth Craft Designs. In this case, we used the burnished velvet technique to create totally awesome flowers.
